Why kill an Israeli mother in her home and stab another, who is pregnant?
Here is the explanation – in the words of  Rajoub, the International Olympic Committee’s official Palestinian representative:
“The international community does not agree to a bus exploding in Tel Aviv -
but the international community does NOT ask what happens to a settler ....
We (the Palestinians i.e.)  want to fight in such a way that the world and the international community will remain by our side!"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvhlU-6ysUY
Now this is very important: Rajoub clarifies Palestinian society has no natural reticence about killing people. But, he says, Palestinian society DOES understand that you mustn’t negate the morals of the international community.
Therefore, the question becomes – does the civilized world, the international community, care if Israeli mothers are slaughtered?
(If not - “the civilized world” does not actually exist,  and there is no “international community”...)
Here’s the international community’s  recent track record:
The European Union is so obsessed with settlements, they neither  notice nor care who gets murdered there:  /News/News.aspx/206660#.Vp1kwip96M8.
The pope forgot to condemn the attacks on the Israeli mothers: /Articles/Article.aspx/18255#.Vp1lKip96M8
The American ambassador, Shapiro,  accompanied his condemnation of the attacks on the mothers – with a lengthy, same-day vehement tongue-lashing of Israel’s YehudaShomron policy: http://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-employs-double-legal-standard-in-west-bank-us-envoy-charges/     http://israel.usembassy.gov/amb01182016.html /News/News.aspx/206652
Now we see why the Palestinian killers march on. We  also see what our job is – each of us. We can actively help prevent the next murder of the next mother:
Here’s how --
DO NOT waste your time contacting any functionary in the European Union,
nor the State Department who govern US Ambassador Shapiro’s actions,
    nor the Vatican .
DO contact a senator with Jewish roots: California’s Senator Dianne Feinstein. Her worrisome track-record  makes her the right person to help the “civilized” (we hope) world turn over a  new leaf.
Why her? Because:
The top of Dianne’s foreign affairs to-do list (more important to her  than solving any of the world’s many  terrible tzorres)  has been - setting up a(nother) Palestinian state: http://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/foreignaffairs
Dianne regards Israel’s “settlements” as the worst scourge  in the world – the sole evil aspect of our vast universe that she has come out and “opposed 100%”!
But despite it all, Dianne is a well-intentioned person – and despite her advanced age, also a leader.
So, SHE can hammer home the message to the Palestinians -- if she wants to.
Please therefore contact Dianne – for she can save a mother’s life tomorrow. Use this form: https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/e-mail-me
You might for example say, in your own words, something like:
“Dear Dianne, NO TO BARBARISM!
You are famous for “opposing Israel’s settlements 100%”. Unfortunately Palestinian leaders seem to interpret this style of diplomatic discourse as an implicit nod from the international community that it’s ok to slaughter innocent people who live in  settlements. This has led to 2 barbaric attacks on young Israeli mothers in just the last few days. Can you send a strong signal – by leading an international initiative to clarify to Palestinian leaders that it is  unequivocally NOT ok to kill settlers? They’ve heard this from some, but not others, so they don’t seem to have got this message yet! Sincerely, etc.”
Please share this blog post with anyone who you know in California. You may save a life.
