In a landmark step to address Israel’s critical shortage of physicians, Nefesh B’Nefesh hosted the first-ever MedEx events in Australia, welcoming over 100 Jewish doctors in Sydney and Melbourne.

This event is part of the International Medical Aliyah Program (IMAP), an initiative to streamline the professional integration process for doctors making Aliyah.

Record-breaking MedEx event empowers Jewish doctors to tackle Israel’s physician shortage, by streamlining the Aliyah process and ensuring their successful integration into Israel’s healthcare workforce.

MedEx is part of a broader national initiative led by Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, Ministry of Health, and Nefesh B’Nefesh, in partnership with the Jewish Agency to tackle the shortage of medical personnel in Israel

MedEx aims to bring approximately 2,000 Jewish physicians to Israel over the next five years. Initially launched eight years ago for North American Olim, MedEx is now expanding globally.
