An i24NEWS poll conducted by research firm Direct Polls gives Amcha Yisrael, the newly-formed party headed by Ofer Winter, eight Knesset seats. According to the poll, Likud is the largest party with 26 seats.
In second place is Yashar, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, with 23 seats, followed by the Democrats with 10. Yisrael Beytenu, Amcha Yisrael, United Torah Judaism and Together each receive eight seats.
Shas receives seven seats, according to the poll. Otzma Yehudit, Ra’am and the Joint List each receive six seats, while the Religious Zionist Party crosses the electoral threshold with four seats.
Below the electoral threshold are Zehut with 1.3% and the Economic Party with 1.1%. Bayit Zionist, Unity, Israel First, Blue and White, and Noam LeYisrael each receive less than 1% of the vote.
The poll presents a different picture from a Channel 13 poll published Wednesday evening, one day after Winter unveiled his party’s slate. In that poll, Amcha Yisrael failed to cross the electoral threshold, while Likud wins just 19 seats.
In the Channel 13 poll, Eisenkot’s Yashar leads with 24 seats, followed by Likud with 19 and Bennett’s Together with 13. The Democrats receive 11 seats, the Joint List 10, Yisrael Beytenu 9, and Shas, United Torah Judaism and Otzma Yehudit 8 each. The Religious Zionist Party and Ra’am each receive five seats.
