Shadi Martini, former general-manager of an Aleppo hospital, had to flee his country when the Syrian civil war broke.
Since then, he has led efforts to bring humanitarian supplies into Syria, recruiting a variety of people to the cause - including some he considered his enemies - now his most trusted partners.
