Head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, called for an "overwhelming" response to this evening's shooting at the community of Shaked in northern Samaria.

"We will not wait until there are casualties. The government should order a strong IDF response, reinstate security checkpoints, and eliminate the PA's terrorist infrastructure," he said.

"The terrorists are testing the new government, and it must show them how crazy we're prepared to be by reacting in a way that will put an end to their [attacks]," added Dagan.
