Police are continuing to investigate the deadly sinkhole which claimed the life of Klil Kimchi during a pool party in Karmei Yosef last week.

Kimchi, 32, was missing for four hours after the sinkhole opened underneath a private pool. His body was found by Inga, a rescue dog from the IDF's Oketz Unit.

Inga entered the sinkhole and descended 15 meters (about 50 feet), so deep that her handler could not see her.

Kimchi was laid to rest in the Pardes Haim cemetery in on Saturday night. His mother eulogized him, saying: "I am standing in front of you right now in the most difficult moment of my life, I can't believe that I am the one to eulogize you. The natural way is that you are the one who was supposed to eulogize me, and I am sure that the eulogy would have witty, sensitive and unique. But what can I, with my limited talents, say about you? In two words: you 'were perfect,' like the name we chose for you, and every other word would only detract."

"The sinkhole that took you from us left a gap in all of us, a deep hole that will never be completely filled. We did everything we could to make you happy in your short life, and you didn't miss a single thing either: the sea, pool, sports, parties, restaurants and bars.

''How ironic that the thing you loved so much drew you to your death. The only consolation for all of us is that you enjoyed until your last moments. We will love you forever," his mother added.
