It's Jew-Hate, Stupid

In 1991, James Carville, writing for the then-US Presidential Candidate Bill Clinton, boiled down a complex idea into the simple winning sentence, “It’s the economy, stupid.”  Armed with that simple sentence, Candidate Clinton turned President Bush’s 90% approval rating into 64% disapproval rating, and catapulted into the White House.

On July 8, 2014, with Iranian long-range and short range rockets raining into civilian Jewish cities from Gaza, Philip Gordon, Special Assistant to the President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf Region, stabbed Israel in the back claiming, “Israel confronts an undeniable reality: It cannot maintain military control of another people indefinitely. Doing so is not only wrong but a recipe for resentment and recurring instability. .  .  

"It will embolden extremists on both sides, tear at Israel’s democratic fabric and feed mutual dehumanization.  .  .  How will Israel remain democratic and Jewish if it attempts to govern the millions of Palestinian Arabs who live in the West Bank? How will it have peace if it’s unwilling to delineate a border, end the occupation and allow for Palestinian sovereignty, security and dignity? How will we prevent other states from supporting Palestinian efforts in international bodies, if Israel is not seen as committed to peace?”

To make matters worse, when specifically asked by the Washington Free Beacon about the above-referenced series of remarks, a senior Obama administration office official flatly stated “This administration is fully coordinated in our message.”  So, this is not a case of Mr. Gordon going rogue, he was speaking Obama’s mind!

It's easy to sum up Obama’s betrayal of Israel: “It’s Jew-hate, stupid.” 

But, it’s not just Obama’s Jew-hate of Israel, Europe’s Jew-hate of Israel, or even left-liberal American Jewry's Jew-hate of Israel.  It’s also Israeli Jew-hate of Israel. In fact, it seems to be global Jew-hate of Israel.

Obama showed his colors from the start.  In February 2008, Obama, the then-US senator from Illinois and contender for the Democratic presidential nominee, told a group of Jewish leaders in Cleveland, fix “I think there is a strain within the pro-Israel community that says unless you adopt a unwavering pro-Likud approach to Israel that you’re anti-Israel and that can’t be the measure of our friendship with Israel.” It seems Obama planned his war to eradicate this “pro-Likud” bacillus “strain” of Jew from the very start.

On July 10, 1941, Hitler declared I feel “I am like Robert Koch in politics. He [Koch] discovered the bacillus and thereby ushered medical science onto new paths. I discovered the Jew as the bacillus and the fermenting agent of all social decomposition.” 

Obama comes by his Jew-hate honestly, he practically quoted Hitler by labeling pro-Likud-Jews a sort of “strain” of bacillus. To Obama, this is a “strain” which needs to be ‘cured’.

Summing up Obama: It’s Jew-hate, stupid.

As for Europe, Lady Baroness Catherine Ashton can’t say and do enough to try to bring Israel to liquidation.  But in 2012, she compared today’s Gazan Children to Jewish Children murdered by Hitler’s Nazis and their all-too-willing Vichy French Nazis. Ashton stated, “And the days when we remember young people who have been killed in all sorts of terrible circumstances - the Belgian children having lost their lives in a terrible tragedy and . . . when we see what is happening in Gaza and in different parts of the world - we remember young people and children who lose their lives.”

So, to Ashton, Gazan children who are willingly brought to military facilities by their parents to act as human shields for Hamas-Military HQs are the same as Jewish children rounded up and murdered in Nazi-occupied France or Belgium.

Summing up Europe: It’s Jew-hate, stupid.

Then there are the left-liberal American Jews.  The American Jews who love the “Two-State” solution, but do not understand that one can smuggle the same Gazan rockets into a fraudulent “demilitarized Palestinian State.” The American Jews, 75% of whom  voted for Obama’s second term, when everyone knew he would not stop the Iranian nuclear bomb, and that he was going to try to push Israel into defenseless ‘Auschwitz’ borders.  The American Jews who fund The New Israel Fund, J-Street, Betselem, Jews for Palestine and other virulently Jew-hating NGOs..

Sadly, summing up these American Jews: It’s Jew-Hate stupid.

Then, last, but not, least: The Israeli Left.  With all of Israel under terror-rocket attack, the current, head-of-the-opposition, Labor Chairman, MK Isaac Herzog doesn’t stand with an Israel under attack, he attacks Bibi: “I also suggest that Tzipi Livni and Yair Lapid leave the government and join us for a great political move that would provide the public with an alternative path.”

Labor’s “peace” policies enabled the rocket attacks in the first place, but Herzog is publicly advocating for Livni to desert an Israeli government while Israel is under massive rocket attacks and help Labor duplicate Gaza’s terror state in Judea and Samaria. 

And there is Haaretz, where columnist Chemi Shalev just equated what was clearly an aberration - the alleged terrible Jewish murder of a Palestinian Arab boy - to the state-organized and orchestrated 1933 Nazi Germany’s Brown shirts massacring of Jews. In another current Haaretz article entitled “Two Israels: One's at war, the other's doing business as usual,” the Jew-hating author breaks Israel roughly into two groups, the Peace-Haters and the Peace-Lovers. Netanyahu is a “Peace-Hater” because he hasn’t created a Palestinian state that even the left-wing past Prime Ministers Olmert and Barak couldn’t create. Israel’s suicidal left has infinite “love” and rationalization for the Palestinian terrorists who commit gruesome war-crime atrocities against their fellow man, and cheer and dance when rockets are being fired into Israel.

To sum up the Left-wing Israeli Jews:  It’s Jew-hate, stupid.

All the analogies in the world equating Gazan rockets fired into Tel Aviv to rockets fired from Mexico into the US have no traction with a huge bulk of the world simply because that huge bulk of the world simply hates Jews, and wants to see Jews, all Jews, annihilated.Period. 

The time to the Israeli Knesset elections is shorter than one can imagine.  So, unless the narrative is changed from “Make peace, not war” to “Herzog’s Peace will bring Gaza’s short-range kassams to Tel Aviv, and Israel’s eradication”,  Israel might elect a left-wing Government. 

And, a Labor Government will turn Judea and Samaria into a chemical-katyusha Terror State and lock-up the 6 million Jews of Israel in a cattle-car-train to a new Auschwitz.
