Ra'am chairman MK Mansour Abbas claimed that the results of the November 2022 Knesset elections would have been different if former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett had decided to run in them.
In an interview with 'Democrat TV', Abbas was asked if Naftali Bennett was missing from the group of parties that formed the previous government, and answered: "There is a missing slot of someone from the right, which is Naftali Bennett. He remained right-wing, but with a more state-oriented approach, which involved looking more at all parts of society, and he succeeded in this."
"While he did not have a party that helped him, he knew at a personal level how to change course and in my opinion, if he had stayed in the political system during the elections, the result would have been different," Abbas claimed.
When asked if he misses Bennett, Abbas answered: "At the level of the political system, absolutely."
