Palestinian Arab victimhood
Palestinian Arab victimhood

Palestinian Arabs are enraged at not being victim number one. We Damn Jews have the Holocaust, and there is nothing they can do to us that would rise to the level of that horror. To even things up, the Arabs have engaged in a program to enhance their victimhood. They started by claiming their Semitic roots to lessen the impact of antisemitism. We are Semites too so how can you Jews be victims of antisemitism?

I wonder if Jews would agree to offer to share their victimhood with the Arabs - would this lessen the stress of always being number two?
To further ascend the mountain of victimhood, they moved on to diminish the Holocaust all the way from claiming that Jews conspired with Hitler to kill themselves in order to get a sympathetic world to give them land stolen from the Arabs (see Mahmoud Abbas’ degree for his doctoral dissertation received from the Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow), to the claim that the Holocaust never happened - or if it happened, that Hitler should have finished the job. Now, if the Iranian team is banned from the international ping pong tournament, it’s called a Holocaust. Ilhan Omar has a personal Holocaust every time she sees an unindicted Israeli. All this to become victim number one.

At one point, the Palestinian Arabs decided to accuse Israel of conducting a holocaust against them. When it was pointed out that the Palestinian Arab population was growing, lived longer and was healthier than ever before, certainly in comparison with other Arab countries, and there couldn’t have been a holocaust, the Arabs said we mean a cultural holocaust or an educational holocaust or a holocaust of wife abuse caused by Israel border guards keeping people waiting at security checkpoints, or a holocaust of olive trees cut down by the settlers next door (actually shown to be their own pruning of olive groves, while they uproot "settler" groves, plunder and destroy Israeli agriculture).

Our heart goes out to these people who live to be victims and have to look in the mirror every morning and see losers. I wonder if Jews would agree to offer to share their victimhood with the Arabs - would this lessen the stress of always being number two? Might it assist the Palestinian Arabs to feel like equals enabling them to be more amenable to negotiating peace with the Israelis?
