A stone was hurled at a car travelling between the Tishbi and Ha’amakim Junctions in northern Israel near Haifa, cracking the car’s windshield.

Road and bridge construction are underway near the scene of the incident.

The driver of the vehicle, a volunteer with United Hatzalah emergency medical services, described the incident to 0404, emphasizing that it was clear the stone was thrown intentionally.

“I was travelling near a bridge under construction. The rock was thrown from a distance. There were no trucks or cars near me, and it’s clear that it was an intentional act.”

“There is no doubt it is a miracle we were not harmed.”

According to 0404, the driver called police, who rushed to the scene and recorded his account of the incident. They have opened an investigation.

Yesterday, Arabs hurled rocks at a bus passing by the school in the Arab village of Luban Ash-Sharqiya near the Jewish community of Maale Levona in Samaria.

Hatzalah of Judea and Samaria said that no one was injured, but that the window of the bus was shattered.
