Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino praised the IDF and Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) Tuesday, for their success in apprehending - and eliminating - the terrorists responsible for the murders of Naftali Frenkel (16), Gilad Sha'ar (16) and Eyal Yifrah (19).

"For every active terrorist at home and abroad: know the long arm of the defense establishment [. . .] which is more determined than ever," Danino declared. "No one will fall through the cracks, we owe it to the entire public - and especially to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones."

"After the abduction, we promised to the bereaved families and the people of Israel that we would not rest until we found the killers," he continued. "[All our] forces and efforts have been invested in this secret mission."

"Indeed, today in the morning, after a sustained effort and continuous cooperation of all security forces, we shut the circle on behalf of all the people of Israel," he added. "Yamam (SWAT - ed.) fighters proved once again that they are very special."

"That is the unique spirit of the Border Police," he concluded, noting that the unit "has a decisive role in maintaining the national strength of the State of Israel" and that they "risk their lives every day for the citizens' safety and well-being."

SWAT teams from the Border Police killed Hamas terrorists Marwan Kawsameh and Amar Abu Eisha had been in a gunfight with security forces overnight, after the two resisted arrest.

The move is being hailed as both a victory and relief by politicians and military officials, as well as the families themselves

"We did what we set out to do," Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated earlier Tuesday"When we found the bodies, I said that the blood of perpetrator of the kidnapping and murder is on his head [an idiom meaning that he will be brought to justice - ed.]," he continued. "This morning, that mission was accomplished."
