The Arab strategic objective of annihilating Israel has had one of its greatest tactical achievements in minimizing the PR image of the Jewish-Arab conflict to the limited scale of the Israeli-Palestinian context. The Oslo Process played a decisive role in conferring international legitimacy on the false image of the Middle East conflict as local strife between Israelis and Palestinians. So much so that even the majority of Israelis have internalized the PR image of the Arab endeavor to destroy Israel as merely an Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Israeli and international obsession with persistent efforts to solve the "Israeli-Palestinian conflict" has left a wide tactical space to the strategists of the Arab states. Indeed, the Arab tacticians make an efficient use of Israel's strategic hibernation, as a result of the prevalent Palestinization of the Middle East conflict, for the underhanded promotion of the next tactical stages in the master plan to destroy the Jewish state.

The uncompromising dedication of the Arab strategists to the coveted goal of Israel's destruction was duly exposed in the journalistic article "Defeating Israel Without War" published in Haaretz during November 2001. The article describes the intellectual efforts invested by Arab strategists with a view towards solving a major Arab problem: How to overcome Israel without incurring a heavy toll. The vision of the Arab strategists is an Arab Palestine, not bi-national, that will spread over the entire territory of the Western Land of Israel.

The article reflects the fact that the "peace" initiatives of the Arabs are nothing but masqueraded tactical moves planned as interim stages on the road to obliterate Israel from the map of the Middle East. Such article should have naturally shocked the nation and caused a landslide sway in public opinion. However, the alarming facts exposed in the article did not evoke any public reaction and the piece?s moral dissolved in the steaming flux of current affairs.

The public disregard for the said article, which represents a diverse genre of journalistic reports disclosing the real drifts fermenting within the Arab countries, is an indication of the existential threat in the tragic snare in which Israel was so senselessly trapped. The ongoing failure of leadership, which underlies Israel's deterioration from bad to worse, has generated a pathological condition blocking the nation's mental capacity to look beyond the Palestinian terror and detect the deployment of the entire Arab world ahead of the showdown battle against Israel.

The gist of the article "Defeating Israel without War" is the disclosure of a new tactic, for which the Arab strategists prepare themselves, following all the wars, guerrilla and terror tactics, which could not realize the goal of overpowering Israel. The new tactic proposed by the Arab strategists can be defined as a comprehensive operation of demographic infiltration to Israel. Indeed, demographic warfare is not a new strategy attempted by the Arabs against Israel. However, the Arab strategists have now reached the conclusion that a passive attitude of reliance on the prolific Arab birth rate in order to gain demographic majority in Israel will no longer suffice.

In the annual strategic report issued by the reputable Egyptian institute for strategic studies of al-Ahram, the report's editor estimates that by 2035 the Israeli Arabs are liable to become the majority in Israel due to their relative advantage in birth rate. Nevertheless, the editor recommends to expedite the growth of Arab population in Israel by planned infiltration of Arabs to Israel, primarily from Jordan and Egypt, who would connect with "Arabs of 1948" through marital ties.

In view of the planned infiltration of Arabs to Israel, the article points at the grave fact that a mass immigration of Arabs to Israel has been already taking place as a direct result of the Oslo agreements. The article defines it as a spontaneous deluge by myriads of Arabs who have been crossing the border from Egypt and Jordan and settling within Arab communities in Israel. This is, in fact, the heart of the matter: taking advantage of the political arrangements as a favorable circumstance for the inundation of Israel with an immigrant population from the Arab countries. In response to preemptive measures taken by Israel against the demographic threat, the Arab strategists plan to stage international moves to condemn Israel as a racist state.

Indeed, the demographic war has been already going on, but it is about to break out in its full, dreadful scale when the "peace" arrangements between Israel and its neighbors are eventually established. The political settlements will provide the ideal conditions for the exertion of demographic, political, economical, cultural and ecological pressure against Israel until its collapse. The gravest threat is obviously the demographic pressure, by which the Arab strategists hope to overpower Israel through cynical manipulation of the "peace" settlements.

The crucial significance of every piece of land is thus self-evident, since the Arab demographic warfare demands tracts of land. Without the territorial infrastructure essential for any population involved in excessive reproduction, the demographic warfare will turn into a double-edged sword that will eventually plague the Arabs with the maladies of population explosion and will inevitably quench their demographic fervor.

It is, therefore, Israel's most essential existential priority to confine the territorial expansion of all Arab settlements throughout its land. The territorial preemptive measures against Arab expansionism are the only non-transfer answer to the professed strategy that regards the Arab population aggregates in the Galilee, the Triangle, Lod-Ramla-Jaffa, the Negev and Yesha (Judea, Samaria and Gaza Strip) as demographic bridgeheads for an Arab mass-infiltration to Israel.

The creation of friction foci is a vital ingredient in the Arab demographic warfare. Thus, every Israeli withdrawal from isolated settlements, such as Netzarim, shall inevitably incur the eruption of new friction foci. In other words, the tactic of friction foci is employed by the Arabs around pockets of Jewish settlement, so that every Israeli retreat under the pressure of friction foci hostilities turns a new block of Jewish communities into settlement pockets that are used by the Arabs for the creation of new friction foci and so forth. In order to terminate the vicious cycle of territorial contraction dynamics, Israel must concentrate on expanding the isolated settlements and consolidating their position as regional centers for a thriving Jewish community development.

While the Jewish public is preoccupied with political and ideological polemics, the Arabs brace themselves for the fateful war that shall break out with the advent of "peace". The Israeli Arabs are sitting on the fence for the time being, but they wouldn't withstand the pressure of the Arab states for much longer. Sooner or later the Israeli Arabs are bound to assume the leading role assigned to them by the Arab strategists in the demographic showdown plan to annihilate Israel. The Oslo Process is an instructive example for the tragic consequences of the Jewish entanglement in the peace snares. The terror, the international isolation and the national deterioration that struck Israel so badly are just a mild reminder of the suicidal vertigo, into which Israel shall eventually plunge if it remains petrified in the fixation of the "peace" diplomacy conception.
