Republicans Overseas Israel Chairman attorney Marc Zell attacked the media and the leftist American organizations which are attempting to bring down US President Donald Trump.
In an interview with Arutz Sheva, Zell said, "I hate the Nazis, they should burn in hell with the KKK and all these anti-Semitic and racist groups."
"But those guys went in and they applied for a permit with the city and the city turned them down. They turned to the federal court...and got an order that required the city to let them march.
"And when that happened there was a call to the public...to come in masses and they did. they vastly outnumber the Nazis. they came for one thing, to have a head-on collision, a violent head-on collision, and that's what happened.
"Donald Trump called it straight - there's no side that has a monopoly on righteousness or violence. That's the message, that's what the president said. He's to be commended for it, I'm behind him.
"The people who organized the counter demonstration, that had no permits, no legitimacy, they were out to cause havoc - and they did."
Do these people have funding from somewhere? According to Zell, the answer is yes - and one of the many sources of funding leftist organizations is George Soros.
Zell believes that the real goal of all this violence is to bring down Trump.
"They have one goal - to de-legitimize President Trump and his administration and to bring them down," he explained. "If they can't do it through Russia collusion or North Korea or something else, they're going to do it through this Nazi canard."
In a Hebrew interview with Arutz Sheva, Zell emphasized that the idea isn't new.
"It's part of an organized plan since the eighth of November to slander, to embarrass, and to bring down the US President," he said.
"If you don't like a statue we can talk about it. But this kind of thing, where it ends up in violence and death and injuries - that is not the American way, and it has to stop."
On Tuesday, Trump himself said, "Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch."
"What about the alt-left that came charging at, as you say, at the alt-right? Do they have any semblance of guilt?
"You had a group on one side that was bad. You had a group on the other side that was also very violent. Nobody wants to say that."
