As America nears its 250th anniversary, the question is not whether the nation deserves applause for what it has achieved. It does. The question is whether Americans still understand and believe in what made those achievements possible. Review.
Am Yisrael is the eternal nation, and the covenant which the Holy One Blessed be He made with us is an eternal and unbreakable covenant.
It is historically obvious that a national solidarity based on compromising fundamental truths in order to create a broad, but shallow and weak 'middle of the road' was not the type of solidarity that has sustained us in our existential struggle.
