The recent story of the Itzkowitz family has left the entire Jewish community in shock: Tamar, a mother of nine from Israel, was only in her lower thirties when she passed away. After one year battling cancer, she was gone leaving her husband and children in shock and grief.
Tamar was known by her neighbors and friends as a warm and loving mother to 9 children, and a truly righteous woman. Most had no idea that the Itzkowitzes were living in abject poverty.
Tamar’s husband, Eli Itzkowitz, is now left with a daunting task: To raise his children and support them without her.
Of course, no amount of financial assistance will be able to fill the gaping hole that a mother leaves behind. But donations will allow the Itzkowitz family to face the following months with help on their side. Funds are being urgently collected here.
