Ambassador Danny Danon met Ben Shapiro during his visit to Israel.
Danon told Shapiro: “You are a true friend of Israel. The fact that you went on the Temple Mount and you were allowed to go there that’s something we have to change - to allow any Jew to go there, to pray there.”
"If there’s anything I can do to help, I’m happy to help," Shapiro said. “This is the historic homeland of the Jewish people and anybody who denies that is denying history as well as G-d.”
He added: "You don't understand the conflict until you actually are up here and you see the view and you see how close everything is together and and a lot of the things that a lot of the political pundits like to talk about become obviously very foolish."
