Main ingredients

1 teaspoon Gefen Olive Oil

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 cup white or brown rice, raw

1 cup water

1 cup fresh orange juice

1/2 cup golden raisins

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Make the Rice

1)Heat oil in a medium-size frying pan.

2)Add onion. Sauté until tender. Add rice; stir well. Cook, stirring constantly, for two minutes.

3)Add water, juice, and raisins. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

4)Add salt and pepper; toss lightly.
