Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan on Tuesday evening praised Rabbi Rafi Peretz's statement that the Jewish Home Party would include all shades of the national-religious public.
Dagan calls on Rabbi Peretz and Smotrich to immediately sign an agreement for a joint run and add the Otzmah Yehudit party.
"The real common denominator is the Land of Israel," Dagan said. "The main goal is to reach a million Jews in Judea and Samaria and to strengthen the Jewishness of the State. A leftist government is the way, G-d forbid, to torpedo it.
"The only way to bring the national majority in the State of Israel into a national government is to unite the parties. The outline is clear, everyone understands it. We have to end the arguments and set out. The entire public looks to the leaders of the right-wing parties. You must sign within 24 hours and come out together to strengthen the Land of Israel and the Torah of Israel," added the Shomron Council head.
On Monday, Dagan spoke at the Jerusalem Conference and told those present that another term of right-wing rule could bring about the presence of a million Jews in Judea and Samaria.
"It'll be irreversible and no one will think of uprooting the Jews from these regions," Dagan said of the gloomy Oslo days. "We were there on the streets shouting helplessly, all because of personal games that brought about the Oslo disaster. We have the power to stop it, and we all have to put pressure on the leaders to unite."
