The IDF has opened and secured a humanitarian corridor in Gaza, to allow residents of northern Gaza to evacuate to the designated safety zone in southern Gaza.
The IDF first asked residents of northern Gaza to evacuate southwards last month, and has reiterated its requestmultiple times since then.
In addition to urging Gazan civilians to move south, Israel opened an additional water line to southern Gaza, promising that humanitarian aid will be provided there as needed.
However, the Hamas terror group, which controls Gaza, has not allowed civilians to evacuate, due to its desire to use them as human shields.
On Sunday, the IDF facilitated the reopening of a humanitarian corridor in Gaza, and on Monday published footage of Gazans moving southwards for their own protection.
