Eliezer Malish, the man who was injured last week in a stabbing attack near the mall in Jerusalem's Ramot neighborhood, was released Monday afternoon from Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Malish suffered moderate injuries when he was stabbed in the bus he was traveling in, by a screwdriver-wielding Arab terrorist from Ramallah. A passerby, Ynet photographer Meshi Ben Ami, neutralized the terrorist.

On Monday, as Malish was released from the hospital, he met Ben Ami and the two warmly embraced.

Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics provided first aid to Malish and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek. Upon his arrival at the hospital, Shaare Zedek updated that, "The victim is in moderate condition with several stab wounds to his upper body, and there is no danger to his life."

Malish will now be released home.

Meshi Ben Ami told Kan News, "I exited the vehicle, I loaded my pistol and I understood that it was a terror attack. The stabber came to me, I didn't hesitate and I fired one bullet at him. I heard him praying in Arabic. Security guards arrived a second and a half later. The victim was screaming for help, that someone should save him."
