The terrorist and other passengers got off the bus and a citizen who passed by at the same time and noticed what was happening, fired at the terrorist and neutralized him."
The union of public transit drivers has released a statement calling for an end to terror and violence on public transit.
"Public transportation in general and buses in particular are a symbol of government and therefore drivers and passengers frequently come under attack."
"The Ministry of Transport must quickly adopt the plan to reduce violence and terrorism. A plan was prepared by the drivers' union that could have prevented the driver's injury. Only in this way will the bus drivers be completely protected, "the union said.
