The mother and son who were injured Tuesday in the missile attack on Kiryat Shmona are recovering.

Both were injured and remained unconscious through Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, they regained consciousness and are now in stable condition.

On Tuesday, the mother, 47, underwent an operation due to her serious injury. Her 15-year-old son was taken to the intensive care unit. Both are hospitalized at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa.

The Hezbollah terror group took responsibility for the launches towards northern Israel, and claimed that their target was the Kiryat Shmona police station.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least two rockets were fired towards the northern town of Margaliot. No one was injured.
