A man was forcibly removed from a Philadelphia Eagles American football game on Sunday after he displayed an Israeli flag.

Videos posted to social media showed Democratic power broker George Norcross draping a combined American and Israeli flag in a private box at Lincoln Financial Field during the game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Security approached Norcross, leading to an exchange of words with the businessman. He was escorted away, and the flag was removed.

The Philadelphia Eagles have not commented on the incident or how the flag violated the stadium's rules.

Norcross' brother is Donald Norcross, a Democratic Representative from New Jersey's 1st congressional district who was one of the first Congressmen to visit Israel after the Hamas massacre of October 7.

The removal of Norcross was criticized on social media. One X user wrote: "So it's acceptable to display an LGBTQ or BLM flag but not an American/Israeli flag at an Eagles game? George Norcross was removed from the Philadelphia Eagles game for displaying an American/Israeli flag in his box."
