With Arab "Palestinian" leader Yasser Arafat in a coma, Secretary-General Kofi Annan expressed hope for a smooth transition and progress toward the goal of an Arab "Palestinian" state living in peace with Israel.

"I think chairman Arafat embodied in his person the Palestinian aspirations for... statehood," Annan said when asked about Arafat's importance. "He's been leader of his people all these years, and obviously is going to leave a gap amongst the Palestinians."

"But I hope - and so far they seem to be handling it well - that a succession will not be a problem," he said.

It appears increasingly likely that during the transition, the Palestinians will be led by a collective headed by Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei and former prime minister Mahmoud Abbas, known popularly as Abu Mazen. The latter is Arafat's deputy in the Palestine Liberation Organization and one of the masterminds, organizers and planners of the murder of eleven Israeli athletes during the Munich Olympic massacre; he also wrote a thesis paper denying the Holocaust of the Jews during World War II.

"Chairman Arafat is still in hospital," Annan said. "I wish him well, but I think the arrangements they have in place with Prime Minister Qurei and Mr. Abu Mazen are working well. And I hope they will be able to ensure a smooth transition."

Asked whether Arafat's illness could "jump start" the Road Map peace plan, the secretary-general noted that the so-called "Quartet" that drafted it - the United Nations, the United States, the European Union and Russia - decided at a September meeting "to press on with the implementation... particularly in the new year."

The truth is that there is already an Arab "Palestine", according to the British Mandate. It is the Arab Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, formerly called Transjordan. Giving the disputed territories, ancient Biblical and modern Jewish "Holy Land" or "Promised Land" of Gaza, Judea and Samaria to the Arabs would create a second Arab "Palestine" and the 23rd corrupt Arab dictatorship, human rights violator, ruthless repressive regime and tyranny in the bad neighborhood known as the Middle East.

The truth is that Arafat is not worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize, he's merely a murderer and terrorist. Arafat is a corrupt dictator, human rights violator, and the ruler of a ruthless, repressive regime.

The truth is that Arafat was the mastermind and "Chairman of Terror" of his Fatah-controlled and dominated Palestinian Authority/Palestine Liberation Organization (PA/PLO), with its so-called preventative "security forces" (subsidiaries of terrorism), the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Force17 and Tanzim, as well as the sister organizations Hamas, Hezbullah, and Islamic Jihad.

The truth is that Arafat is a symbol of "statehood" for his people. Arafat was born in Egypt. Arafat came to power during 1964, when Egypt and Jordan were "occupying" the disputed territories of Gaza, Judea and Samaria, from 1948-1967, which they won during an attack to annihilate the only Jewish nation at the start of its modern statehood.

The truth is that Arafat refused statehood, which would have included an unprecedented offer including a part of the holy city of Jerusalem as capital, 100% of Gaza, and 97% of Judea and Samaria in a "land for peace" deal. Instead, he turned his back and walked away without even so much as a counter-offer, then unleashed a calculated, cold-blooded campaign of murder and mayhem known as the Al-Aqsa Intifada.

The truth is that the "occupation" of the Arabs is by the Arabs themselves, with no one else to blame.

The truth is that succession will be a problem. The world has allowed the Arabs and Arafat to perpetuate a political propaganda ploy of a fictional independent "Palestine" nation and "Palestinian" people, especially in these territories which are Biblically, historically, legally, morally and politically the rightful land and property of Israel and the Jewish people. There can be no legitimate successor to one who is neither a king, nor an elected official, but merely a murderer and terrorist.

The truth is that terrorism is the one obstacle to peace condoned by the world.
