A new look at this week's Haftorah

A reminder to those watching this out of Israel: We are reading Parashat Behar this week and you are at Parashat Emor. The Haftorah, however, is not limited to the parasha, but has to do with faith in redemption.

I have a particular love for the Haftorah for Behar. Sometimes the connection between the parasha and the Haftorah is fascinating. In this Haftorah, we read that Jeremiah is in prison and the Babylonian army surrounds the city of Jerusalem. The end is near, but Hashem tells the prophet to buy a field. What is the message?
