Two brothers, ages 3 and 7, from Tekoa in Gush Etzion, were found safe after leaving their home late in the evening and disappearing. Following an extensive search, the children were found many hours later asleep under a tree, covered with a tarp.

After receiving a report of the children's disappearance, volunteers from the Etzion-Yehuda Rescue Unit of the Judea and Samaria District and officers from the Etzion Police Station launched searches for the brothers. The community emergency response team and local security department also joined the effort.

Meanwhile, hundreds of local residents arrived at the search command post established by the rescue unit to assist in the search. Three deployment points were set up, and volunteers headed into the field after receiving instructions on how to conduct the search.

After an extended search, the brothers were located by a search team dispatched under the direction of the Etzion-Yehuda Rescue Unit's locating team. The children were found asleep beneath a tree and covered with a tarp.

According to police, both children are in good condition. After being found at the conclusion of the overnight search, the brothers returned home.
