Hamas captivity survivor Elkana Bohbot and his wife Rivka welcomed a baby girl on Friday morning.
The infant is a sister to their eldest son Re’em, and born less than a year after Elkana returned from captivity.
Bohbot shared a photo of himself with his wife and their newborn daughter, alongside the words of Psalm 100, "A Psalm of Thanksgiving."
In April, the Bohbots announced that they were expecting another child, with Rivka writing at the time, "Our story is not yet over; it continues to grow."
Bohbot, one of the producers of the Nova music festival, was released last October after 738 days in Hamas captivity. Throughout his captivity, members of his family, including his wife Rivka and his mother Ruhama, campaigned for his release.
About three weeks before announcing her pregnancy, Rivka marked Elkana's birthday with a post about their life together following his return from captivity.
"Sometimes I think that our love, after everything we've been through, is no longer innocent; it is courageous," she wrote. "It is a love that knows fear, absence, uncertainty… and still chooses to remain."
"We don't have all the answers, but we have something more important: time. Time to rebuild, to heal, to laugh again without guilt, to learn who we are now," she concluded.
