IDF soldiers, guided by the Shin Bet, apprehended a 38-year-old pregnant terrorist after information was received regarding her intention to carry out a stabbing attack.
The terrorist was arrested in the Ganot Junction area on the way to Homesh, near Shavei Shomron in Samaria.
The terrorist was apprehended while armed with a knife and was transferred to the security forces for further handling. No injuries were reported.
Earlier this morning, another incident occurred in Samaria when terrorists hurled a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle on Route 55.
The Molotov cocktail shattered and ignited on the road, but the vehicle was not hit and continued driving. No one was injured.
IDF troops called to the scene found two additional Molotov cocktails that had been thrown in the area. Following the incident, the troops entered nearby Palestinian Arab villages and conducted searches.
At the same time, engineering forces cleared vegetation and other cover from areas adjacent to the road throughout the day. The operation was intended to prevent terrorists from hiding near the roadway.
