Israel Police officers seized a Glock pistol, two magazines and dozens of 9mm rounds during an overnight operation in the Palestinian town of Dahrieh, following precise intelligence provided by the unit’s operations officer.

Police officers raided a residential home, where the weapons were discovered during a search. A Palestinian man in his 50s, a resident of the area, was arrested and taken for further questioning. The investigation remains ongoing.

The seizure was part of a broader series of operations by Judea and Samaria District police and IDF forces in recent days. On Monday, IDF soldiers acting on intelligence from Ariel Police Station raided the Palestinian village of Kafal, where they found an M16 rifle, magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and tens of thousands of shekels.

In a separate operation in the Palestinian town of Zaatara, Etzion police detectives, assisted by soldiers from the Etzion Regional Brigade, uncovered additional weapons, including pipe bombs and a hand grenade that were reportedly prepared for use.
