
On Saturday, during IDF operational activity near the "Yellow Line" in the southern Gaza Strip, a tank drove over an explosive device planted by the Hamas terrorist organization.
No IDF injuries were reported.
In a separate incident, IDF troops identified two terrorists who crossed the Yellow Line in an attempt to sabotage weapons belonging to IDF troops. The terrorists approached the troops in a manner that posed a threat. Following the identification, the soldiers responded with fire to remove the threat and eliminated the terrorists.
The IDF stressed, "These incidents constitute violations of the ceasefire agreement, and the IDF views them with the utmost severity."
"IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat."
