Forces from Division 146 have been operating in recent weeks in southern Lebanon, continuing to expand targeted ground operations aimed at protecting residents of northern Israel.
Over the past day, troops from the 226th Brigade identified two Hezbollah terrorist cells. In rapid operations, the Israeli Air Force eliminated the terrorists under the direction of ground forces.
During the night, the 213th Artillery Brigade and the Israeli Air Force destroyed operational infrastructure used by Hezbollah terrorists.
On Friday, the IDF completed a wave of strikes targeting terror infrastructure sites across Lebanon.
The IDF struck a command center belonging to the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps. The Lebanon Corps serves as a liaison between Hezbollah and the Iranian terror regime and supports Hezbollah’s force buildup and military entrenchment.
In addition, The IDF struck two headquarters of the PIJ terror organization, which were utilized by the organization’s senior officials for decision-making and coordination with Hezbollah.
Likewise, the Israeli Navy struck a Hezbollah observation post.
