Martial artist Ruach HaShem Gordon, brother of Ahavat HaShem, was due to fight in the ONE tournament in Thailand next week.
When he was told he could not enter the ring with an Israeli flag, unlike other competitors who are allowed to enter with the flags of their countries, he withdrew.
According to Channel 12, doing so also meant canceling his contract for the fight.
A little more than a month ago his brother, Ahavat HaShem, defeated a Turkish opponent who taunted him and Israel, and was warmly received at Ben Gurion Airport.
