Israeli Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar personally took part in operational sorties carried out over Iranian territory.
On Saturday, the Israeli Air Force completed a large-scale and targeted wave of strikes in Tehran, guided by Military Intelligence. The operation focused on military infrastructure at Mehrabad Airport, which served as a key logistical hub for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force.
During the attack, 16 aircraft used to transfer weapons and funds to the Hezbollah terrorist organization were destroyed.
Mehrabad Airport had functioned as a central hub for arming and financing Iran’s terrorist proxies across the Middle East, and the strike is expected to significantly disrupt the ability of these organizations to rearm through the Iranian regime.
