
Winter weather will return, after just a few days' break, forecasters predict.
Intermittent rain will begin falling Saturday night in northern and central Israel, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. Toward morning, there is a slight risk of flooding along the coastal plain.
Sunday will see intermittent rainfall in northern and central Israel, alongside isolated thunderstorms. In the central and southern coastal plain, there is a risk of localized flooding. In the Judean Desert streams and the Dead Sea area, there is a risk of flooding.
During the afternoon hours, the rain will spread to the northern Negev. Snow will fall on Mount Hermon, and temperatures will drop.
Monday will be partly cloudy to cloudy. During the morning hours, light local rain is expected in most areas. Temperatures will drop slightly.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy, and temperatures will remain largely unchanged. On Tueseday night, strong easterly winds will begin blowing in northern Israel and in the mountainous regions.
