Graffiti was spray-painted Tuesday night at the entrance to the Reshet 13 building in the Ramat Hahayal neighborhood of Tel Aviv.
"The blood of the traitors will yet be cleared for publication," the graffiti read.
Reshet 13 and Channel 13 News expressed deep shock at the incident and at the growing wave of violence and intimidation directed at journalists and media outlets in Israel.
The broadcasting company emphasized that this marks “another red line crossed as part of an ongoing wave of threats, intimidation, and harm.”
A formal police complaint will be filed Wednesday morning, in the hopes that a swift investigation will be opened and lead to the identification of those responsible.
Reshet 13 stated: “We must investigate this incident. There is no place in society for violence or threats. Differences of opinion must be resolved through dialogue and understanding. We unequivocally condemn this incident.”
