The Hamas terror group on Friday published a video showing hostage Guy Gilboa-Dalal and a second hostage.

According to Hamas, the video was filmed last week. In it, Gilboa-Dalal can be seen being taken by his captors for a trip in a vehicle in Gaza City. During the trip, he meets hostage Alon Ohel, and discovers that eight hostages are held in the city.

Gilboa-Dalal also asked the Israeli public to go out and demonstrate, and turned to his friends who were with him in captivity, Omer Wenkert and Tal Shoham, asking them to attend the protests, saying, "This is my last opportunity."

The video is part of Hamas' ongoing psychological warfare, used to wear down Israeli society and encourage internal conflicts.

The video was filmed two days before Hamas spokesman Abu Obaida was eliminated.

According to Galei Zahal, Abu Obaida made plans to stop Israel's entry into Gaza City, by means of psychological terrorism. Journalist Doron Kadosh noted that Abu Obaida believed that by means of psychological terrorism, he would succeed in preventing the IDF's "Gideon's Chariots II" operation from taking place.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir responded: "Hamas' psychological terrorism is in order to stop our actions in Gaza. The necessary response is full conquest, absolute defeat, encouraging massive migration. Only this way will we defeat them only this will bring our hostages back safely."

Gilboa-Dalal's family responded: "We received a sign of life from our Guy today, half a year after the previous video when we saw him with Evyatar David watching their friends be released. Guy, Alon, and other hostages were moved to Gaza and we are very concerned for their lives. We must bring them home."
