Over Shabbat, the Israel Dog Unit, a nonprofit specializing in working dogs, located a missing woman in the Rosh Ha'ayin region.
Ahuva Zaharani, 71, suffered from dementia. She had been missing for 36 hours before being found.
Zaharani was found alive and taken to hospital care.
The organization stated “We salute the volunteers who saved the life of the missing woman after leaving their families in the midst of the holiday and Shabbat.”
