"The Hamas-ISIS terror group violated the agreement, did not keep its commitment to release, today, all of the women hostages, and launched rockets at Israel's citizens," the PMO said in a statement.
"With the renewal of the fighting, we emphasize: The government of Israel is committed to achieving the goals of the war: to release our hostages, eliminate Hamas, and ensure that Gaza will never again present a threat to Israel's citizens."
Since 5:48a.m. Friday morning, six barrages of rockets have been fired from Gaza towards Israeli communities on the Gaza border.
Parallel to this, the IDF's Home Front Command updated its guidelines for civilians. In most cities in central Israel, school will be held only in schools will be open only in locations where a protected space is accessible within the required amount of time. In Holon, the mayor decided to cancel school for the day.
