Renana Gome, mother of freed hostages Yagil Yaacov and Or Yaacov, on Monday morning published a first photograph of herself hugging her sons, after they spent 52 days in captivity.

The Yaacov brothers were released Monday evening, as part of a prisoner swap deal which sees three convicted terrorists - females or minors - released for every Israeli civilian taken captive by Hamas.

The Yaacov brothers were kidnapped together with their father, Yair Yaacov, and his partner, Meirav Tal.

Three weeks ago, a spokesperson for the Islamic Jihad terror group's military arm, Abu Hamza, published a video clip in which he announced that his terror group was willing to release two of its hostages for "humanitarian reasons" - an elderly woman and a 13-year-old boy.

The video clip showed Chana Katzir, 77, and Yagil Yaacov, 13, of Kibbutz Nir Oz, calling on the Prime Minister to do everything to release them.
