In Berlin, the capital of Germany, a special prayer rally was held in the city's main synagogue in memory of those murdered in the Hamas massacre and to express solidarity with the State of Israel in its war against the terrorist organization.
The prayer rally, held by the Jewish community of Berlin, was attended by senior officials of the German government who came to express solidarity with Israel following the massacre.
Berlin Chief Rabbi Yehuda Teichtal, Israeli Ambassador to Germany Ron Prosor, the mayor of Berlin, the vice president of the German Bundestag, the president of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, the president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, and the Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Antisemitism, participated in the prayer service.
The participants gave moving speeches, in which they clearly emphasized their support for Israel and their demand for the immediate cessation of German aid to Gaza, which is controlled by the genocidal terrorist organization Hamas.
"This prayer is an important expression of our unity and solidarity with Israel at this necessary time," said Rabbi Teichtal, "We appreciate the support of our political leaders and the entire community, and pray for the victims of this terrible attack."
