Former President Donald Trump allegedly took an NBC News reporter’s phones and kicked him off his plane after he was asked a question about Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s criminal investigation into him, according to an audio recording.

The confrontation between Trump and NBC News reporter Vaughn Hillyard took place on March 25 after Trump’s campaign rally in Waco, Texas, Fox News reported.

Trump was talking to reporters on his campaign plane when Hillyard implied that Trump appeared “frustrated” by Bragg’s criminal probe. Audio revealed Trump sounded upset by the remark and told reporters to not ask any more questions, while also accusing NBC of being “fake news,” according to the recording, which was obtained by the Washington Post.

"I’m not frustrated by anything. What am I, frustrated? I just did a speech for two hours. I’m not frustrated by it,” Trump said. “It’s a fake investigation. We did nothing wrong. I told you that. … It’s the exact opposite. This is fake news, and NBC is one of the worst at it. Don’t ask me any more questions.”

Trump later told the reporter, "I heard you’re a nice guy from NBC, but you’re not.”

A half hour later, Hillyard attempted to ask Trump a second question about Bragg’s investigation at which point Trump replied: "I don’t want to talk to you. You’re not a nice guy.”

The reporter attempted to ask his question again. But Trump allegedly grabbed his two phones that were on a table and threw them somewhere else in the cabin, a source told Vanity Fair.

In the recording, Trump is heard saying, “Let’s go, get him out of here. Out of here. Out of here,” according to Fox News.

All the reporters were then escorted away from the former president, according to the Washington Post report.
