Members of the IDF Rabbinate joined the Israeli humanitarian aid delegation to Turkey to care for the delegation's spiritual needs and give spiritual support. The Rabbinate members provided religious necessities, from Kosher food to a synagogue and special instructions for Shabbat.
Among the participants: The delegation rabbi, Lt. Col. (Res.) Rabbi Yaakov Tubol, rabbinate NCO Sfc Elad Bar Yoel, and Home Front Command Rabbi, Major Rabbi Yitzhak Injar, with help from the IDF Rabbinate's office staff. "The IDF Rabbinate pledged to serve in every place and at any time," stated the Rabbinate.
