The father of Asher and Yaakov Paley, the eight and six-year-old boys who were murdered in a terrorist ramming attack in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem on Friday, remains hospitalized two days after the attack.

The boys' uncle, Moishe, spoke to Kan Reshet Bet Sunday morning about how the family is responding to the murder of two of their children. "The father accompanied four brothers to the station to go by bus. One of them, Tzviki, was waiting in the car and saw them on the ground. With tremendous internal strength he knew how to cover the eyes of another brother who was lightly injured."

"I was at home when the attack happened," said Moishe "I received a call that there had been an attack in Ramot and that my sister was walking around there. I left for Ramot, my sister called and said that there was a rumor that her husband had been taken to the Mount Scopus [hospital]. After that I received a call from the police that I should come and be with her and they cleared the way for me because they needed to take her to identify the body. I finally met her at the Shamgar [funeral home] to identify the child, it was creepy," he said.

Of his murdered nephews, he said: "There was something very special about them in terms of goodness and purity. Let's hope that these will be the last victims from the people of Israel, who will only see goodness, salvation and comfort." Moishe asked the public to pray for the children's father, Avraham, "we need him at home." Of his sister, the children's mother, he said that "she is in the position of taking care of her little ones. Her resilience for the children's sake is amazing."

Yaakov Paley, 6, was laid to rest on Friday before the start of Shabbat. Asher, 8, who was critically injured in the attack, passed away on Shabbat and was laid to rest on Saturday night. A third victim, Shlomo Lederman, a 20-year-old yeshivah student who was married just four months ago. was also laid to rest last night.

Three people who were injured in the attack remain hospitalized, including the boys' father. All three are in moderate condition.
