Abdel Rahman Shadid, one of the senior members of the Hamas terrorist organization, told Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV in an interview, "We in the Hamas movement do not distinguish between one Zionist government or another, as there is agreement among us regarding their crimes against the Palestinians."
Shadid added that "the goal of the extremist occupation government is to eliminate the Palestinian presence and destroy it" but "the Zionist occupation will not be able to break the will and determination of the Palestinian people."
On the new policy of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir towards terrorist prisoners, Shadid said that "the Zionist government will bear responsibility for Ben Gvir’s threats towards the Palestinian prisoners" and that "Ben Gvir will certainly fail in implementing his decisions", since "Islam will have a militant response to the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people and the holy places."
"The Palestinian resistance united the Palestinian people and is the most effective way to deal with the Zionist occupation", he continued, adding that "the official authorities should immediately turn to the international bodies to judge the Zionist occupation for its crimes against the Palestinian people and the prisoners."
Shadid also said that "the resistance is ready to respond to the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the prisoners and the Palestinian people", emphasizing that "the issue of the prisoners is comprehensive and is a red line that must not be crossed" and that "we are witnessing an escalation in resistance activity in all areas of the West Bank".
