Three people were killed Thursday evening in a car accident that occurred on Highway 6 near the Kiryat Gat interchange in the third deadly road accident in two days.
Magen David Adom Lachish region director Haim Kardi said: "This is a shocking car accident. We saw two crushed vehicles. A man and a woman in their 40s were trapped in a vehicle that was on the side of the road. And a man of about 30 years old was trapped in the other vehicle which was still on the road."
"We performed medical tests, they were unconscious without a pulse and not breathing and in a short time we had to determine their deaths," Kardi added.
The latest accident brings the death toll of Israeli citizens from car crashes in the last two days to six.
Yesterday, a six-year-old boy was killed in a head-on collision between an Israel and a Palestinian Authority vehicle in Binyamin. Earlier today, two Israelis were killed in a car crash in the Sinai Peninsula.
