The Menashe and Judea Regional Brigades this week completed extensive brigade-level exercises in which forces confronted a series of complex extreme scenarios.

The IDF said the exercises focused on changes in northern Samaria and scenarios involving the defense of communities.

During the exercises, the forces were required to respond to sudden, multi-front incidents occurring simultaneously at several locations. The scenarios took place in communities, along roads, in the seam zone, and deeper within the area.

The IDF explained that the exercises were intended to test the forces' readiness and their ability to provide a rapid response to several simultaneous incidents. Commanders were required to make decisions under conditions of uncertainty and deal with mass-casualty incidents.

The exercises included cooperation between the IDF and local authorities, Border Police, Israel Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Magen David Adom, and other security bodies. The forces practiced coordination between the various organizations as part of their response to various scenarios.

In addition, special ground forces units trained jointly with the Israeli Air Force. The IDF said the cooperation was intended to practice the operational capability to respond to a variety of scenarios in the sector.

The exercises were planned in advance and were held as part of the IDF's 2026 training program, the IDF added.
