Several security incidents were reported in the Binyamin region on Saturday, a spokesperson for the Binyamin Regional Council said.

In one incident, shots were fired towards the Jewish community of Psagot; in a separate incident, a Jewish shepherd was assaulted by Arabs.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., gunshots were heard in the area of Psagot. A bullet was later found inside the community near a synagogue. The community's security coordinator arrived at the scene, and IDF and police forces were dispatched to investigate.

Earlier in the day, near the Quarry Road area close to Alon Road, a Jewish shepherd was assaulted by Arabs from the village of Al-Mughayyir. Following the attack, approximately 30 masked Arabs gathered at the scene, rioted, and erected several roadblocks in the area.

"Attacks on shepherds and similar security incidents have become a recurring phenomenon in recent years," the Council emphasized. "However, they often receive little public attention. Focusing on isolated incidents while ignoring the ongoing threat of Arab terrorism presents only a partial picture of the security reality in Binyamin and across Judea and Samaria."
