Passover in Israel will continue to be wintry, and the rain is expected to return, forecasters predicted.

On Sunday, the haze which has hung over Israel since Friday will gradually subside over the course of the day. In northern Israel, intermittent rain is expected, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. In central Israel, there may be local rainfall. Temperatures will drop to lower than the seasonal average.

Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with local rain expected in northern Israel, along with isolated thunderstorms.

Monday, will be partly cloudy. Local rain is expected in northern Israel. Temperatures will rise slightly, especially in central and southern Israel.

Tuesday will be cloudy, with local rainfall expected in the north and center, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. Local rain may fall in the Negev area, and there is a risk of flooding in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea streams. Winds will pick up, especially in southern Israel. Temperatures will drop slightly, mainly in the mountains and inland areas, remaining below seasonal average.

On Wednesday, the skies will be partly cloudy or cloudy. During the morning hours, local rain is expected from northern Israel to the northern Negev, and there may be localized flooding in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea streams. Beginning in the afternoon, the rain will gradually cease. Temperatures will continue to be lower than the seasonal average.
