The Central District Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment with the Lod District Court against Yisrael Lebkovitz, 20, and Orel Makitan, 25, residents of Modi’in Illit, on charges of contact with a foreign agent and passing information to the enemy.
According to the indictment, the two maintained continuous contact with Iranian agents, for about a month since the beginning of the year.
As part of this contact, they allegedly provided details of checkpoints and photographed the home of a reserve IDF lieutenant colonel.
In return, they received payments totaling more than $1,000, which were transferred to their digital wallets.
