IDF field observers and the Aerial Defense Array on Friday identified two drones that crossed from the west into Israeli territory in an attempt to smuggle weapons.
Following the identification, IDF troops arrived in the area and thwarted the drones, which were carrying six M-16 rifles.
The weapons that were located were transferred to the Israel Police for further processing.
